1)Made it through Sage's graduation
2)Bridgette and I survived food poisoning
3)We endured the drive home
4)I held up during a stint at Lake of the Ozarks
5)Recovered from someone attempting to sabatoge the hotel by turning off the main gas valve to the building.
AND FINALLY....
We're home at last.
This blog is another avenue in which to stay connected with my blondies...Sage and Reagan back in Texas. It is an absolute honor to be their mom and I strive to keep my family as intertwined as possible. I hope they enjoy reading about the happenings in Missouri as much as I enjoy reading about their lives.

The Weekend
I'm working this weekend because we have a wedding and a graduation in town and the hotel is booked. I like all the hustle and bustle of being busy, so it's not really work.
Bridgette came and weeded the flower beds for me this morning. She did such a good job, except everyone at McDonald's drive-thru stared at her the whole time she was working. They just couldn't help it because she's the best looking yard worker anybody's ever seen. She'd rather do the manual labor than deal with the public. She gets that from her Gramps.
Reese went to the Fireman's Picnic with me and Don and the other guber Don, last night. He was a good sport even though I'm sure he'd rather have been anywhere but there. He then had friends over to the house to watch movies.
I am getting all our ducks in a row to come to Texas. I can't wait to see my blondies!

SUCKER!!!!
Well, I'm sure you know my wallet was stolen and I was totally conned by a woman in distress. Thankfully, she didn't do too much damage and the banks and credit card companies have been excellent in working with me, as have the police.
My gullibility hasn't been helping me any. At 35 years of age, I think it's time to outgrow this trait.
Lesson learned.

This 'n That
I took my last final and finished up the semester yesterday. WooooHoooo. Just a couple more weeks till the kids get out of school and our Sagie Poo graduates. I can't believe it all happened so fast!
Things have been picking up here at the hotel. I plan to work some on the weekends, as that is when everything is happening. The kids will be working there soon, too.
One of my housekeepers had a wreck this morning on her way to work. She totaled her car, but only sustained minor injuries because she was wearing her seat belt. Thank God for that. We're like family here...and Kelsey is one of us. We were one of the first calls she made while she was still trapped in her car. I sent Curt to take Lois (Lois was too upset to be driving) to the hospital to stay with Kelsey. She had no one else.
On a lighter note, the kids and I are still enjoying our little house and our little dogs. The little flowers, however received a lot of rain. They're still looking good though.
We're looking forward to the summer. I'm taking courses to renew my broker's license and I'm also taking one class this summer session. This all takes place in June. We're gearing up for the mission trip in July. I'm looking forward to spending some time with my babies.
Less than two weeks and we'll be traveling to Texas for graduation. I'm also anxious to see Ma.
See ya soon.
