Cards game

Don and I had so much fun at the Cardinal game earlier this week.
It's too bad we can't work things out.

Family Night at the wannabe Walton's

The old man came over and used his lawn mower to pick up all the woodchips and debris from our yard. We love Mr. Clemens.
Bridgette's cracking the whip on her boyfriend, Steven, and he's doing a great job with the flower bed.
Today Toad was the karate kid with his master standing nearby.
Sawing tree limbs. Reese is making a hand.
And here is the chicken fry queen. While Reese, Mr. Clemens and I worked outside, Miss Bridgette cooked supper.

We waste no time in shoveling it in! Good night, Jim Bob.

Tree Removal

A very big tree...
and very tall, too.

Two guys with chainsaws and one bucket truck...and all day is what it took to get the job done.
At times it was pretty tricky.

Check out this stump! All that's left is saw dust. I will soon seed it to grass and you will never know there used to be a gianormous tree in the middle of our back yard.

Walt and Toad

Guy talk.

Call me a stalker, because I was across the street taking these pictures from my kitchen window...through the screen and everything.
Even with the poor quality of the photo you can still see what a cute pair Reese and Mr. Clemens make.

Easter

Easter Sunday the kids and I skipped Sunday School and just went to Big Church. Reagan said they were doing the same in Texas.
Afterwards, Bridgette and I fixed chicken fried steak and gravy, while Reese went caving with his friends.
Although I missed my blondies, it was a nice Easter.

Living room

Keep in mind we are still in the process of moving in, so try to overlook the mess and see the home-y-ness of our humble abode.

Here's the bathroom

My room.

My bed.

My curio cabinet to house the Willow Tree figurines given to me by my children.
I'll take pictures of Bridgette and Reese's room tomorrow.

My Favorite Things

The new doggie door. Ellie figured it out right away, but Stogie has a little more learning to do.
My beloved mailbox. With a paint job and a little TLC, it'll be back to its original condition.
Bridgette and I packed away her and Sage's china. The next time it's moved...it'll be going to their houses.
