Bob's good deed for the day..

Gramps would be proud...
Someone had set an animal trap...one that snaps closed...behind the hotel unbeknownst to us. This morning Bob discovered it and found a cat with its paw stuck in the trap. He threw a towel over the cat and put it and the trap in a box. I drove him and the box to the animal shelter where I watched Bob and a very brave woman pry the trap open thus freeing the feline. The very tip of the cat's paw looked smashed, but hopefully he'll be ok. The workers at the animal shelter said this is the second incident of someone putting out this same kind of trap in a different part of town. The last cat had to have a leg amputated.
There's never a dull moment...
