I spent the morning catching up at work. The Tour of Missouri group arrives tomorrow, so we've been hard at work preparing for them...including gift bags for the rooms.
The maintenance man, Curt, had some troubling news. His wife is expecting their third child, a boy, due any day now. Friday the doctors discovered that the baby has parvoe. Yes, like dogs have, although the human kind can only be transmitted from human to human. None of the medical staff in Rolla knew anything about human parvoe. But it doesn't look good at all. Curt and his wife are at the hospital in St. Louis seeing a group of specialists and delivering the baby today. Please keep this young family in your prayers.
