Bridgette has a job!
She had an interview at Dairy Queen yesterday and the managers told her they were impressed with her politeness, thought she would be a good worker, and offered her a job.
We are so proud of her.
Since Bridgette is only 15, her hours are restricted and she cannot work in the kitchen and handle knives. She will be working the front counter and drive-thru, which is where you really see what the public is made of. What a great experience for her. I think she'll be great at it.
Her uniform consists of non-skid shoes, khakis, DQ shirt and apron, and Bridgette's favorite...the visor.
At least it's not a hair net.
